I can't believe it is that time of year again! But we have to talk about snow closings. The Library follows the University...so if the University is closed due to weather or other emergency so is the Library. If the University delays opening or closes early, so does the Library. So if the Library is closed do not report to work. It is your responsibility to check to see if the Library is closed before leaving to come to work.

Let it snow!
It is that time of year where we may have school closings and delays. Please make sure you call the snow hot line at 545-3630 to see if the campus is open or not. The Library follows the University. So if the University is closed so is the Library. If you work on the weekends when the university is technically not open call 545-0414, they will update this if the library is closed on the weekends. You can also check online at the Library home page.
If the University Closes for a Snow Emergency!
According to the Groundhog we have 6 more weeks of winter. If it should snow bad enough that the University closes then the Library closes too! So if you find out that the University is closed, do NOT come to work because the Library will also be closed. Also if there is a delayed opening then the Library will open when the University does. So say the University has a delayed opening till 11 and you work 9-1, you would just show up at 11. On the weekends the University is basically closed but the Library can decide to close if they feel it is too bad out. If you work on the weekends and question whether the Library is open or not, check the Library website or call the Hours Hotline at 413-545-0414.
