****New Changes**** Interlibrary Loan has moved back!

ILL has moved back to the Lower Level!  Their service point is at the Circulation/Reserves Desk.  If someone comes during ILL's open hours (hours can be found on the "hours" sheet or online) and needs to speak to someone from ILL send them to the Circ/Reserves Desk.  Someone from that desk will get someone from ILL.  Also remember if someone wants to request something from ILL send them to the Reference and Research Assistance Desk for help.  And picking up ILL requests can be done at the Circulation/Reserves Desk.  Returns can be made at the Book Returns on the Entry/Exit Level or at the Circulation/Reserves Desk.

The Interlibrary Loan and Document Delivery Office (ILL) has moved back to the Lower Level. They however no longer have a service point. Is the Interlibrary Loan the same as the Circulation Desk? If someone wants the # for ILL, should I give them the # to Circulation?

The Interlibrary Loan Office is different then the Circulation Office. The Interlibrary Loan Office is located downstairs and handles all of the book requests for books we or the other 4 Colleges do not have. People make their request for books or articles online. They can pick up ILL materials that come in for them at the LC Desk (which could be what makes it confusing.) They can return the items to either the book return or the LC Desk. So if someone wants the number to Interlibrary Loan or ILL as it is sometimes called, give them the number to ILL. I hope this helps!

Just a reminder!

Items ordered through Interlibrary Loan usually called ILL can be picked up at the Circ/Reserves Desk. They can be returned there or in the book drop right across from the Information Desk.

Where is the "ILL" Office?

The ILL Office is located on the Lower Level. If someone needs to speak to someone from ILL please send them to the LC Desk and they will get that person for them. But ALWAYS ASK what people want from the Interlibrary Loan Office. If they want to request a book they do it online not through the office. They can get help with their request from the LC Desk. If they want to pick up an ILL book they can go to the LC Desk. Returns go where all other returns go.
