The closest mailbox is outside the Campus Center by the U store. We have no post office on campus. There are three in Amherst though. One is located in the downtown area near Bart's Ice Cream. One is located on University Drive near the CVS and Big Y. And the third one is located in North Amherst in the same plaza as Big Guy Liquors.
Additional info: They sell books of stamps at the University Store in the Campus Center.

Where are the mailboxes and where can you buy stamps?
There is a mailbox outside the Campus Center by the U store and you can purchase stamps at the UStore.
Where are the mail boxes on campus?
There are two mailboxes that I know of on campus, one is located outside the Campus Center by the U store. The other mailbox is located near Whitmore if you are walking towards Southwest, it is located in the back of Whitmore next to the parking lot.
Is there a mailbox in the Library?
No, but there are mailboxes outside the Campus Center and Whitmore.
