Q&A: Can you download audiobooks onto your ipod or phone to listen to it?

I know that this library does not have audiobooks in our collection physical collection.  With all of our e-resources we may.  I would think that you could not download them due to copyright issues.

Books On Tape

There have been several questions about books on tape or CD today, unfortunately the library does not carry books on tape or CD. The Jones Library in town has a decent collection that students could borrow. All you need is identification or mail that proves you reside in the Amherst area to get a Jones Library Borrowers Card.

We do not have books here on CD or tape. The Jones Library (Amherst Public Library) in town does have a collection of books on tape or CD.

Are there books on tape available and if so can you browse the collection?

There are no books on tape or CD in this Library unfortunately. They would have books on tape or CD at the Jones Library in the center of Amherst. Students attending UMass can get a card to check out items at the Jones Library. It is located across from Amherst Cinemas and Amherst Coffee.

Any books on CD's?

No, unfortunately we do not have any book on CD or tape. They would have these types of things at the Jones Library, the Amherst town library if people would wish to go there. There is a link in the Bookmarks under "Town of Amherst."
