Media and Music Monuments (6th Floor) open for Browsing

Media and Music Monuments collection are now on the 6th Floor.

This area will be open all of the hours the library is open.

Media designated as “Use in Library Only” will be available from the Circ/Reserves Desk on the Lower Level.

Starting today, September 6th 2011th, patrons will be allowed to browse the Media on the 6th Floor.

Music & Media

The Music and Media on the 6th Floor houses:

• Media (CDs, DVD)
• Media Viewing Equipment
• Music Monuments

DVDs

DVDs are on the 6th Floor.

All Reserve DVDs are downstairs at the Circulation/Reserves Desk but still need to be viewed in the Library on the 6th Floor, they can not leave the building!

If a patron requests a DVD they need to pick it up at the Circulation/Reserves Desk.

Where are DVDs and CDs? Where can you watch videos and listen to CDs in the Library?

You can do this on the 6th Floor in Music and Media area or there is  media viewing and listening equipment  in the micro films room on the Lower level.

Where do DVD's get returned?

Patrons can return DVDs or Media at the at the LC Desk on the Lower Level or in the book return slot in the lobby.

They may want to return Reserve Media to the LC Desk as that has a shorter borrower time and could reduce the chance of fines.

Where are CD's, DVD's etc...

Most Media (DVD's, CD's) are on the 6th Floor.

Any Media on RESERVE however is at the LC Desk downstairs.
