Student services in the Learning Commons

Hours for these student services in the LC:

• International Programs Office Study Abroad – Monday – Thursdays 4pm-8pm (with Calipari sessions on Wed., 6pm-8pm)
• Financial Aid – Tues and Wednesdays 5pm-8pm
• SAM Smart About Money – Tu and Thursdays, 5pm—8pm

These student resources are located in Room O and P, adjacent to the Calipari Room.

Please note that these are “satellite” locations; and there are links to their permanent offices from the LC page: https://www.library.umass.edu/learningcommons/

Students should be referred to the permanent offices outside of their evening hours in the LC. 

New IPO Link!

We now have a new link to the IPO. You can find the Learning Commons hours through the link, but it takes some doing. Here they are: Monday - Thursday, 4:00 - 8:00 PM.

Updates!

I had a meeting today with the Learning Commons Providers and these are the highlights...

The Writing Center is doing amazing business! They are in such high demand that they are now asking students to go online and make an appointment. HERE is the Writing Center website. I have also created a link under "Useful Links" Just click on the bright orange "WConline Click Here" option. This will bring you to the page to apply for an appointment. First time users will have to register first.

*NEW* There is now Study Abroad Advising (part of the International Programs Office) hours offered at the Advising Link down in the Learning Commons. To find out more about the International Programs Office click HERE.  Click HERE for more information about studying abroad advising.

Where is the William S. Clark International Center?

It is located in 467 Hills South, the number is 413-545-2710. It is also known as the International Programs Office. Don't forget if you are not sure where something is go to the UMass website and in the "Search" field put what you are looking for.
