Renewals can now be done at the Self Check-Out Machine

Patrons can now also renew their books at the Self Check Out Machine.  To Renew, they just need to click the renew option, slide their card, then choose and renew.  It is pretty intuitive, however if you want to demonstrate it please let me know.

Is the UCard the only thing that can be used at the Self Check-Out Machine?

The only cards that can be used at the Self Check-Out machine are the UCard (student, staff, and faculty ID), the card that state borrowers get from the Circulation/Reserves Desk, and IDs from the other 5-College institutions.

Should I call or inform a staff member when there is a technical problem with the Self Checkout Machine? Example: No receipt, process is slow.

Yes, report it to the Building Operations/ Info Desk and they will handle it.
