Do tours meet at the Visitor's Center or Campus Center?

You can always use the phone if it is work related, that is what it is there for. You can also try the Robsham Visitors Center for tour information. 

Where is the best place to send a group looking for a tour?

There really is no good place to send them. The tours do tend to follow a certain route through campus but in inclement weather that varies a bit. Also depending on what time it is the tour can be in a totally different place. The tours leave from the Robsham Visitors Center and the number there is 413-545-0306. They (or you) can call the Visitors Center and they may know the tour guide and about where they are located on campus.

How do you know when Tour Groups come into the library to visit campus? Are we supposed to be aware?

We don't know when Library Tours come through the building and we are NOT supposed to be aware. The Campus Tours are scheduled and run through the Robsham Visitors Center. It is the person who is here for the tours responsibility to be on time for the tour and meet at the Visitors Center or the Campus Center (where tours leave from). It is not our job to keep an eye out for tours because we may be busy helping someone out. You could try calling the Tour Information number for Tour Information and they may know about where they are. The number is 545-4237.
