****New Changes****

The CDs, DVDs, and the Monument Collection have moved to the 6th Floor.  The Call number M (which includes Music scores) has moved to the 6th Floor as well as oversize books for M, ML and MT.


LPs and VHS have moved to the basement and patrons can request them online.

Media and Music Monuments (6th Floor) open for Browsing

Media and Music Monuments collection are now on the 6th Floor.

This area will be open all of the hours the library is open.

Media designated as “Use in Library Only” will be available from the Circ/Reserves Desk on the Lower Level.

UMass Music CDs are now Requestable!

As of Feb 1st, UMass Music/Audio CDs are now requestable by UMass and Five College patrons utilizing the "Request Item" function in the Five College Libraries Catalog.

Hampshire College CDs are now requestable by Five College Patrons as well.

Loan period is now 5 days for all patrons, limit 3 items, no renewals (same as videos).

Someone had a call # that said "UM Music Media CD", where is this located?

If the location says "UM Music Media CD" it is located on the 6th Floor.

Music CD's coming over from the Music Department!

The Music Department may send people over with CDs of recent recitals and concerts that need to be added to our collection. Have them bring them down to either Circ/Reserves or the Reference Desk.

For students looking to listen to past recitals they can find these on the 6th Floor.

Can you return DVD/CDs in the book return slot?

Yes!

Where are the DVDs and CDs? Where can you watch videos and listen to CDs in the Library?

You can do all of this on the 6th Floor. There is also a listening and viewing equipment in the micro films room in the LC

Where are CD's, DVD's etc...

Most Media (DVD's, CD's) are on the 6th Floor.

Any Media on RESERVE however is at the LC Desk downstairs.
