There are larger study rooms (aka carrels) available in the library but they are only available to graduate students and faculty. They will need to speak to someone at the Circulation/Reserves Desk if they are eligible. Although I am unsure of the availability at this time during the semester.There are open study carrels on 10 that are available to all patrons.
I'm not sure that you could find an available Ethernet port anywhere in the building now that we have WiFi.

Can you borrow an internet (AKA ethernet) cords in the Library? -Dan
No, there is no place in the Library to borrow an ethernet cord. However sometimes they have ethernet cables in the Office Supply Vending machine in the Learning Commons. Otherwise they will need to go to the UStore to purchase one.

I asked several people and the only place that people can "plug in" to the internet is downstairs in the Learning Commons. Wireless is located throughout the building.

Do you know of any Ethernet ports/jacks where patrons can plug in their laptops?
In the Learning Commons where the IT machines (machines you must log in to) are they do have extra jacks and cables for students to use.
