OIT workstations leaving LC for the summer

They'll be back when Phase 1B is completed.

Today (5/20), OIT is beginning to remove its workstations from the Learning Commons in preparation for Phase 1B of lower level construction. Workstations are being removed from the Calipari Room today and from the rest of the LC tomorrow (5/21) and Friday (5/22).

The public workstations will remain in the LC throughout the construction project.

This summer, OIT workstations will continue to be available in the 3rd floor quiet study area (~16 PCs and a printer). In addition, 4 OIT Macs will temporarily replace the four public PCs closest to the LC Desk. OIT Computer Classrooms will maintain a staff presence in the Learning Commons to support users of these workstations.

The OIT workstations in the LC and Calipari will be put back once Phase 1B is complete and the furniture is back in place.
