Because of the recent fire alarm there is now information for what students who check out laptops from Floor 3 should do in an emergency. They should take them with them when they leave the building for the emergency. They need to get the laptop back in 4 hours of when the library re-opens. If they can't get it back to Floor 3 in that time they should call Reserves to give them a reason why it can't be back and the time to expect it back. Any late fees due to am emergency evacuations will be waived.
Anyone who takes a laptop out will be given these instructions.
It is important during any fire alarm that you get yourself out of the building as quickly as possible. I am just giving you this information just in case you ever get asked. Please never stay at the desk during an emergency to answer questions.
