Lets review how to request a book in the catalog just to make sure that everyone knows how to do it correctly. When you are in the catalog and you see a book that you want, on the page that lists the call number and availability you will see the "Request Item" option towards the top on the left. Click on this and enter your email and password log in.
With that said there are some things that the other 5 College Libraries will not lend. I know that Periodicals, some college's CDs, some college's Art books, and some other items will not circulate. That could be a reason the request would not go through.
